Don Burke's award winning "Burke's Backyard" program can now be heard Saturday morning from 6am to 8am and Sunday morning from 6am to 9am on 1503 2BS Gold.

Don delves into his on-air garden, answering listeners' questions, road testing pets, looking at the latest vegetable growing techniques and generally having a good time.

Don Burke is best known as a broadcaster, but he's also a Horticulturist, Tree Surgeon, Tafe and Guest University Lecturer and founding member of: Year of the Tree, Greening Australia and Sustainable Development Australia.

Burke's Backyard originated on radio back in the early 80's. By the end of the decade the show was a ratings success on both radio and television with Don becoming a household name. However it's not hard to tell that Radio is Don's first love.
