Alex chose to leave his home in Sydney for a change of scenery.

Alex took advantage of a gap year after School before packing his bags for a move to Bathurst at the beginning of 2009 to undertake an Advertising Degree at Charles Sturt University.

In late 2009 he was introduced to Bathurst radio listeners by mate and 2BS Presenter, Charles Croucher. Alex found the experience invaluable and developed his radio style behind the microphone very quickly.

Alex enjoys sport, including C.S.U. Rugby.

Alex hosts the 2BS Brecky Show, Monday to Friday mornings from 5.30am to 9am ("the early mornings are somewhat of a shock for a second year Uni student").
