Began his time with Bathurst Broadcasters Pty Limited in 1969, a few months before Ron and Stephanie Camplin purchased 2BS. Pecky has hosted 2BS breakfast for most of those 60 years. Pecky won what he calls a “real one” (original design) Australian Commercial Radio Award back in 1990 for “Best General Announcer”. Most of 2BS’s Radio Appeals have been hosted by Pecky, including the two Appeals for the Daffodil Cottage, Flood Appeals, Jaws of Life and Bushfire Appeals. He is very passionate about local events and highlights these throughout his program. Pecky has also performed the opening ceremony at events like the Blayney, Oberon and Sofala Shows. Pecky hosts 2BS Breakfast Monday to Friday mornings from 6am to 9.00am.
